Nomination Filing for first phase of Lok sabha elections to begin today

Nomination for the first phase of the upcoming Lok Sabha election to begin from today March 20. The Nomination process will begin for polling constituency.

The first phase of the election to take place on April 19. The Election Commission of India (ECI) release the official notification for the filling of the nomination. The candidates can file the nomination for the election at their respective Election officers.

Last day of filing of nomination is March 27 i.e. Wednesday for nomination for Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir, Lakshadweep and Puducherry and 28th March, 2024 (Thursday), as the last date for making nominations for Bihar, as per the official notification release by the Election Commission of India.

The Scrutiny of Nominations date is March 28 and for Bihar it is 30 March the last day of withdrawal of candidature is March 30 and for Bihar it is April 2.
